I have finished another coffee table and side table. The color was chosen by the client and turned out great. After painting I distressed them and sealed them.

All in a day
So last night I went in my garage and pulled some stuff out for refinishing. I needed to get going again as I saw the weather was looking nice. Raining all the time just doesn't give me the kick to go outside and work. So today right after the kiddies ate their breakfast I put on my painting clothes and went to work. Here is what I accomplished once again thanks to the chalk paint for drying soooo quick.
Sofa Table in pic is the one I redid, nothing fancy, but easy to work with.
I added a door knob to add some character to it. I painted it old white and distressed it.
$145
And here is another table I did. I am so happy with how it turned out.
It is definitely one of my all time faves.
Solid Chunky rectangle coffee table. Painted Old White, distressed and waxed.
$175
And here is a custom order I have been working on. It was a lot more work than it looks and a King size frame at that. I sanded down some of the original pine, stained it dark and then painted it old white as well. Once dry I distressed the parts that I had sanded so the dark would show through.

Shabby Chic Chair
Had this chair in my garage and my sister asked if I could paint it for a small pop of color in her kitchen. I painted it with a blue/grey paint that I mixed together myself, then slightly distressed it.

Side Table Makeover
Finished working on this really unique side table today. I had it first painted cream with a turquoise accent and didn't like the way it turned out, so decided to try it in a Duck Egg Blue.

My Favorite
Today I picked up this really nice sofa/side table. I knew what I wanted to paint it and it turned out much nicer than I thought. Love when that happens.

Another trip out
So today I made yet another trip to south surrey. It may be a long drive, but definately worth it if I can find the deals. I picked up some beautiful coffee tables and side tables. Pics will come. I am finishing off right now a really unique side table or smaller coffee table. Here is a pic of the before (or somewhat before) almost forgot to get a pic. It is now painted in Old white once again. That color is so practical for all decor.

Antique Dresser Makeover
I started this dresser on Saturday after having it sit in my garage for quite some time. I was waiting for my chalk paint to arrive. I was going to paint it a paris grey, but decided to do an old white as that is more practical for most homes. Saturday was super hot and annie sloan paint dries quick as it is, but with the heat it dried as quick as I could put it on. That was a bit challenging, but the final product once waxed, distressed and waxed once more turned out great.
